The presentation of tourism opportunities of Belarus was held in Santiago, the capital of Chile. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Argentina together with Alatan Tour travel agency, BelTA learnt from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Argentina.

The presentation held at the scientific and practical centre of the major Chilean travel agency Turismo Cocha aroused an interest of Santiago citizens. The visitors got familiar with the information about Belarus. They watched a video about the development of tourism in our country. The details of the Belarusian tourism industry development were presented by First Secretary of the Belarusian Embassy Sergei Lukashevich.

At present, the cooperation between our countries in the tourism area is in a formative stage. At the same time, the travel agencies of Belarus and Chile show an interest in the establishment of contacts which can be fostered by presentations like the one recently organized in Santiago.
